Randy's Raceway tried a unique style of Modified event this week by splitting the field by point standings
and the top 6 faced off with the Current and reining points champion Brett Gilmore taking his 5th win in a row. Gilmore won 7 segments in his Pat Ronco R12 replica. Jim Levan finished second followed by Mark Williams. In the second group Scott Bender in his #36 won 7 segments and scored the win followed closely by Alex Amore and Steven Kercher.
Troy Bowers Wins First Feature
Veteran racer Troy Bowers scored his very first Modified feature in a close show against 40 year veteran Bill Brenner and Eric Beard, Nick Wummer and Dale Stengel.
